Hauling & Storage: If you already have a boatyard or marina that you use, we will work with their hauling schedule for winterization services. If you do not have a yard or you bring the boat home we can aid you in selecting a boatyard / hauler and coordinate services.
System and Mechanical Winterization: Available services include: engine and water system winterization; oil changes; outboard maintenance; outdrive removal; battery removal and winter charging Shrink Wrapping: A poor winter cover can do more harm than good. If the frame is not secure the cover can fill with water and cause severe structural damage or vessel loss. If the cover is loose it can chafe and damage your gel coat or paint job. If it is not vented properly you belongings and gear may be damaged or destroyed by moisture. We make all efforts to properly secure the frame from movement. Once the cover is in place we can either secure it at the rubrail if your hull is a dark color or painted or we can bring the sides further down the hull to protect the topsides.
Equipment Removal: Items such as electronics and canvas can be removed on a time and materials basis. During removal we take care to prevent straining power cords and to limit scratching of plastics. |
