Many insurance policies only cover liability while your boat is on the trailer. This means that if a wheel bearing fails and your boat falls of the trailer going 55mph down the highway, you will not be able to claim the loss of the boat. Your best insurance policy is to maintain your trailer. Before every trip do you complete a checklist of trailer maintenance items? Do all of your lights work? Do you know when you repacked your bearings? Have you checked the torque of your lug nuts lately? If you answered no to any or all of these questions it is time to have your trailer serviced. We can complete a full inspection of all trailer components from springs, to brakes, to bearings. Once the condition is determined we will provide you with a written estimate and work will be completed in a timely fashion.
